Team and workspace settings
Workspace basics
Your workspace is the boundary for all Maneuvr data -- competitors, events, battlecards, digests, and context documents. Members share a workspace and its credit pool.
Roles
Every member has one of three roles:

| Admin | Full access: invite and remove members, change roles, manage billing, settings, and all workspace data |
| Member | Create and edit entities, events, battlecards, and deal outcomes; manage their own subscriptions |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all workspace data; cannot create or edit anything |
Inviting team members
Admins can invite members from Settings > Users:
- Click Invite
- Enter the email address
- Choose a role
- Send
The invitee receives an email with a link. If they don't receive it, check spam or use Resend invite from the Users list. Invite links expire after 7 days.
Seat limits by plan: Free 1 / Starter 2 / Team 5 / Business 15.
Changing roles and removing members
From Settings > Users, admins can:
- Change any member's role
- Remove a member (their data stays in the workspace; only their access is revoked)
- Transfer workspace ownership to another admin
Audit log
Every significant action in the workspace is logged:
- Competitor created, updated, or archived
- Battlecard regenerated
- Deal outcome logged or deleted
- Member invited, removed, or role changed
- API key created or revoked
- Webhook added or deleted
- Settings changed
Audit log entries record who performed the action, what changed, and when. Admins can view the full log from Settings > Audit Log.
General settings
Settings > General lets each user configure:
- Persona (updates your default landing page)
- Instant alerts on or off
- Display name, avatar, timezone
These are personal -- they don't affect other workspace members.
Workspace name
Admins can rename the workspace from Settings > General. This updates the name shown in email digests, shared battlecard links, and API responses.
Data retention
Historical data (events, digests, run logs) is retained for the period defined by your plan:

When you downgrade, data outside the new plan's window becomes inaccessible until you upgrade again. It isn't deleted immediately.
Frequently asked questions
Can I be in multiple workspaces? Currently, each Maneuvr account belongs to one workspace. Contact support if you need multi-workspace access.
What happens to data when I remove a member? Their account is deactivated and they lose access, but everything they created (events, outcomes, notes) stays in the workspace.
Can a Viewer invite other members? No. Only Admins can invite or manage members.
